More Research

Choose the topic you are most passionate for.

The topic that I am most interested is the Celtic culture.

List foundational work/texts you plan on using for your project (these texts should be "old" as in foundational to the civilization / culture you are studying).

Mabinogin is the text that I plan on using in studying the Celtic culture.

Research and lists modern text from the same culture/civilization.

These are some modern text from the Celtic culture: Encounter, Araby, Clay, Counterparts, Eveline, Grace, Ivy Day In The Committee Room, The Boarding House, The Dead, The Sisters and Two Gallants.

Using the question activity we did in class, generate a list of questions you will use for your research and reading.

Some questions that I would generate are what inspired this type of writing to be the cornerstone text of the Celtic culture. Another question would be that I would want to know if this type of text was used to help the Celtic people get through a difficult time. The last question that I would like ask is that who was the first person to bring this text style to life. These are some of the questions that I will use for my research and writing.

They both start in a fairy tale sort of way like a once upon a time and then they both have a back story or what they are doi...

Academic writing

H ow can you apply the concepts of academic writing to your own writing?           I can apply the concepts of academic writing to my own writing by using all the steps of the writing process to whrite a better essay. There are some steps to writing an essay that I have never done including identifying your audience. Although I never heard of it or used it in one of my writings it is very important because if you were talking to a younger audience  compared to an older audience they will see ideas differently and have different opinions because their life has shaped them differenty then it would shape someone who grew up in a different generation.  This could help me to become a better writer because all these processes and revising your writing multiple times will teach you how to write an essay properly and will improve how you work. This can also effect how u read a text because it can help u analyze the text better and u will be able to write a ...

What's a Hero

What is a Hero Heroes come in many shapes and sizes but they usually have the same qualities. Some similar qualities that I think a hero has is that they are a good role model. They are also the person that will do the right thing and make the right call even in a tough situation. A hero is also someone who will make a sacrifice for the good of others. To me a hero is someone who will stand up for others and will lead others in the right direction. A hero should also be very generous and they should also be the person that you look up to for advice in a tough situation.  A hero is someone to look to for answers on what is right and what is wrong.
